LIVING BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
From the Desk of Sarah Nadler Troutdale, Oregon
This week, as always - I am taking a common struggle or question brought up by service-based business owners inside my business mentoring program, and giving you the answers!
Do you often struggle to hit the targets you've set?
Or maybe you're not setting them at all!
The owner’s role in any company is to establish the organization of the business, the culture, core values and the policy by which its products are achieved.
Having accomplished that, the purpose of the owner is to keep the company solvent and functional.
The purpose of the CEO or Manager of the business is to make the owner's goals a reality.
So here we have this leadership team of two - owner and manager. Underneath them, there is the executive or C-Suite strata of your business. People like your Chief Financial Officer, the leader of your delivery or technical team, and marketing or sales manager, etc.
If these leaders in your business are not meeting at LEAST once a week...
Even if you have memos, emails, phone calls, etc - if you're not actually sitting down with them and sorting through the problems of running the business, supporting each other and accomplishing the four main purposes of an executive meeting...
Then what are we doing?
